Outlook '01 hangs on message

I received an email from a friend that has caused my Outlook to stop
responding. The message has no subject and she does not remember sending
the message. When I highlight the message, Outlook stops responding. I am
unable to open, preview, or delete the message. This is now the first
message in my inbox, so it is automatically highlighted when I open Outlook.
How can I delete this message without an uninstall/reinstall.

Outlook 2001 - all updates performed

Thanks in advance,
Robbie

Try posting to a group for Macintosh mail - Outlook 2001 is a Mac specific
version of Outlook.

Sorry, I said 2001. I guess it's 2002. It's the first pc version of Office
XP. I managed to get the message deleted, though.
