Outlook '03 contacts sync problem

When I syn my Outlook contacts to my Palm 755w (going from computer to phone)
my Palm reads "and Deb Hamby, Mark" instead of how it is stored in Outlook
Contacts as Mark and Deb Hamby. It should read Hamby, Mark and Deb.

Someone at Sprint told me that there must be a bug in my Outlook. Would it
be helpful to get the '07 version? Do contacts move from the old version to
the new?
