I am using Win XP sp2, Outlook 03 w/word as editor and AVG Pro v8.x
Since I upgraded my AVG from 7.5 to 8.0 when I use Outlook for a new message
the 1st character in the subject line is deleted when the email is received.
In searching for a solution I saw that uninstalling and reinstalling AVG 8.0
is the answer. This did not work for me. I switched from using Word as the
editor to Outlook as the editor, this also did not work.
The only work around I have is to remember to put a space as the 1st
character in the subject line and old habits are hard to break to remember to
do this.
Is there a real fix for this problem? Please respond to me offline at
(e-mail address removed)
Thank You
