I have been running Office 2007 B2TR and this morning I mistakenly ran the
OEM Office 2003 install and could not stop it (Toshiba Office 2003 Small
Business Edition).
Anyway, all of the '07 Office tools appear to have been able to recover
themselves except Outlook. When I launch Outlook '07 the following appears:
An error has occurred in the script on this page.
Line: 325
Char: 1
Error: Library not registered.
Code: 0
URL: outlook:today
No doubt the registry has been overlayed. I attepted to re-install the B2TR
but it told me that it has already been installed and then exited.
Also, when I look at the html page that Outlook Today 'points to', this is
the entry:
res://C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\1033\OUTLWVW.DLL/outlook4.htm
Is there a way to recover Outlook without a complete uninstall/reinstall
from the ground up? Maybe there is a way to tell the registry that the B2TR
has not been installed to that it will allow me to re-install the technical
refresh and hopefully restore Outlook.
I should also mention that there is another functionality problem that I've
noticed. I cannot perform a send/receive. When I attempt this Outlook
presents a small dialog box with "Not implemented" message.
