I have Outlook 2007.
Every now and then, when I forward an e-mail it will change the format that
I have selected for individual recipients to Rich Text from "let Outlook
decide the best sending format". As a result, I get notes back from some of
my recipients that they
are getting the red X's, etc. So I have to manually go into that contact's
internet properties and change the format back to "let Outlook decide" then
re-send. At first I thought it may have had something to do with syncing my
smartphone, so I have not synced for a few days, and the problem is still
occurring. In Tools/Options I have the setting on HTML and in the Internet
Format box I have it set to Convert to HTML format. This happens only to a
few of my contacts. I have gone in numerous times to the list and changed
them back to "let Outlook decide", but it is tedious to have to do this all
the time, and obviously Outlook is not "deciding" which sending format is
best...I am so frustrated that I have been secretly checking out other e-mail
programs...<sigh>
Can anyone help me??
