Outlook 07 & Hotmail Account

I tried sending a file that was too large from Outlook and now it is
literally "stuck" in my outbox. I can't delete it, move it to another
folder, nothing! How do I get rid of it? It is preventing outlook from
sending/receiving other email.

There are three methods to get rid of those stuck mails.
Method 1
Open the message from the Outbox and close it again. Now select the message
and press DELETE.

Method 2
Put Outlook in offline mode. To do this go to File-> Work Offline. Now
restart Outlook and see if you can delete it (you can try this in combination
with method 1). Don’t forget to put Outlook back On-line again.

Method 3
1. Create a new pst-file; File-> New-> Outlook Data File…
2. Set this pst-file as your default delivery location in your Account
settings; Tools-> E-mail Accounts-> button Next
3. When you now restart Outlook your original pst-file will show up as
the secondary set of folders where should easily be able to remove the file
from or even the complete Outbox folder
4. Set the original pst-file as the default delivery location again and
restart Outlook; the Outbox folder will be recreated and will be empty.

If still cannot delete those mails then try this
Use the Microsoft MDBVU32.EXE tool to forcefully clear the Outbox. The
instructions for this are the same for when removing a stuck read receipt but
instead of choosing “MDB-> Open Root Folder†choose “MDB-> Open IPM Outboxâ€.

How do I run that exe file? None of the other methods worked as it says
"outlook has already begun transmitting the message". Its been transmitting
the message for 3 days now! Ugh...

Then put Outlook into Offline mode. File-Work Offline. Close outlook. Open
Outlook. Delete the message. Put Outlook online....

I have had outlook offline all day and it does nothing when I hit delete or
tell it to delete that email. I guess its being stubborn! lol

See http://www.outlook-tips.net/howto/stuck_message.htm. the easiest method
is to set outlook offline and wait 5 min or so then delete it.

I have had outlook offline all day. When I click delete or right-click and
click delete, nothing happens...the message is still there. If I double
click on the message and try to open it to delete it that way, it says it
cannot open because outlook has already started transmitting the message.
Any other tricks you know to try?

Then you're not off line. Try this. Stop Outlook. Disconnect your network
cable. Start Outlook. Try to delete the message now.
