Outlook 07 runs slow in Vista.

My Outlook 07 runs slow. I'm a lousy typist but I constantly out-type the
cursor and have to wait 3-10 seconds for every click or command to register.
The files and folders are almost empty, so it's not like I have a lot of data
stored in Outlook that would slow it down. I have Office Standard 07 running
on Vista, Dell XPS M1710 with Intel Centrino Duo 2GHz & 1GB RAM. My other
Office programs and other apps work fine. Any ideas why only Outlook is so
slow?

Try renaming or deleting outcmd.dat, extend.dat, views.dat and frmcache.dat

I am having the exact same problem. I am desperate for a solution and
it doesn't seem to be coming from Microsoft...HELP PLEASE MAKE MY
OUTLOOK RUN FASTER OR WILL START USING GOOGLES CALENDAR
