Outlook 07 spell check-signiture problem

I have a new laptop with Vista and Outlook 2007.

This doesn't happen all the time, only sometimes, and I haven't identified
when.

Sometimes when I am writing an email the auto spell check underlines in red
an incorrectly spelled word. When I click the right mouse button, instead of
brining up an alternate word menu it brings up the signiture menu. I
understand the signuture menu is supposed to appear on right click if I am
inside a "signiture box" (whatever that is), but the spell checker isn't
supposed to be turned on in the signiture box, so the incorrectly spelled
word wouldn't be underlined in red if I were inside a signiture box. So
what's going on? Another indication that this problem has something to do
with confusion with the signiture box, is one time, when in frustration I put
my curser at the end of the email and selected one of the signitures on the
menu, it deleted the entire email when it inserted my signiture.

Is this a bug, and is there a patch for it? Is there a work around (I'm a
poor speller so I really count on that menu to provide me with the proper
spelling).
