Iam currently using MIcrosoft Office 2007 for Windows XP. I am having
problems with my outlook spell check. It tells me the spell check is
complete but does not mark or correct incorrect words. This problem only
happened after I instelled and then unstalled, Dragon Naturally Speeking
9.0 on the laptop,

Try detect and repair (office diagnostics). Also make sure you are typing in
the message body, not the signature field. If you right click and see the
signature list, you are in the signature field.

I didn't think it ever worked in the signature field. You'd need to change
the signature style in the template to allow spell checking.

It did work in Outlook 2000 and 2003. I would use signatures as letter templates and then customize on the fly within the signature field area.

Does Microsoft plan to fix this issue? It seems to be a big problem for many users. Especially those who are poor spellers like me. :(

Outlook 2002 handled signatures differently. Outlook 2003 used the 2002
method with the outlook editor, the 2007 method with the word editor.

Nothing is broken, so there is nothing to fix. Don't type in the sig field.
Use quick parts to insert boiler plate test above the signature block
instead.
