Outlook '07 w/Cont Mgr: Unable Attach Appointment to Personal Cont

Does anyone know how to create an Appointment in my Personal Contacts Folder?
I've tried clicking on the Appointment icon to link it to a non-business
contact, but all I get is an error message.

I am, however, able to attach an Appointment in my Business Contacts Folder.

FYI: There's no History icon under any of my Personal Contacts.
