Outlook 200 profiles

Hi,

I am trying to create a .prf file for Outlook 2000 to add IMAP account
settings. Each time I try to implement it using modpref i get the error
'Unable to configure message service [Microsoft Outlook Client]'. Outlook
2000 is configured as internet email and I can add the account manually okay.

I have tested the with Outlook 2003 and it works okay so I am a bit confused.

Can someone suggest arears to need to look into to solve this please.

Outlook 2000 supports IMAP only in Internet Mail Only mode, which cannot be configured with a .prf file, since it doesn't use MAPI profiles.

Thanks Sue, not the answer I wanted but at least it explains why I have been
fighting a losing battle.
