Hello,
I've outlook 2000 running on a living server and cannot stop it
because it actually process and respond 1000 to 1500 mails per day.
I want to improve to outlook 2003 mostly to avoid the winmail.dat
bug of outlook 2000. But for this I need to install and dispose some
time to improve and debug the automation routines. Can somebody
tell me if I can (and if yes, how ) do this without killing the actual
server? Even if I stop outlook 2000, just for the time to install 2003,
will I be able to restart normally 2000 after?
Any help will be greatly welcome.

No. You can have only one version of Outlook installed on any one machine.

You will have the same problems with Outlook 2003, I have already made this transitition, in the hope that MS would have fixed the problem, unfortunately nothing has been 'update' to fix it!! So don't update just to fix this problem (winmail.dat)
