Outlook 2000 and DSL

I just installed DSL and it works fine with the browser.
However when I send/receive in Outlook, it gives the
message no dial tone. Do I have to change some setup
features in Outlook to use DSL to send and receive mail?

Ask your ISP for this information. If they say that they only support
Outlook Express, take the information that they supply and use it in Outlook
Express. Once you have it installed and working, open Outlook and import
the Internet Mail and Account settings.

If you have problems, post to an Outlook group where you will have many more
expert eyes viewing your post.

On the assumption OL was running before, with yr dial up service;
Tools/Accounts..........check Properties for each account, under Connection
change setting to LAN
