Good day, and thank you for any assistance.

I am using MS Outlook 2000 (version 9.0.0.6627) and I use the no-charge
version of Zone Labs ZoneAlarm firewall, version 6.1.737.000. A couple of
weeks ago, I began having trouble getting e-mail - the error message was
that the TCP/IP connection had been interrupted, and it happened with all of
the e-mail accounts I wanted to poll. The accounts are on a total of three
servers.

After experimenting some, I determined that I could get e-mail if I turned
ZoneAlarm off. Then I can get e-mail, turn ZA on again, then shut it off to
get e-mail and so on. Waste of time.

Am I the only person having this problem? Is there a fix? Is it Zone Labs
problem or a MS Outlook problem? Any suggestions?

Thank you.

Sounds like a ZoneAlarm problem. Have you added Outlook to the Program
Control list in ZoneAlarm?
