Hello,
I'm using Yahoo as my ISP, but am trying to set up Outlook 2000 for my mail.
It is partially working, but when I send messages, I receive the following
warning:
"The server you are connected to is using a security certificate that
could not be verified. The certificate's CN name does not match the passed
value.
Do you want to continue using this server?"
I have continued to select "yes", however, I am not sure what needs to be
done to correct this, or if I possibly set up Outlook incorrectly. I have
to click on "send/receive" each time to send a message or to receive new
messages.
I do have a POP3 account, and Yahoo sent instructions to change the SMTP
port to 465 and to change the POP3 port to 995 which I've done, but I keep
getting the Internet warning message.
Any suggestions?
