Outlook 2000 - Contacts and calendar no accessible

V

Veronica

The contacts lists and calendar are no longer accessible
in Outlook 2000. Outlook opens with a message
indicating "Unable to open your default e-mail folders.
The information store cannot be openned". The company I
worked for closed last week and I fear that they have
disabled my access to my personal contact and calendar
files through their VPN which also contain hundreds of my
husbands contacts for an unrelated business. Is there any
way to open the "information store" and restore the
contacts and calendar for Outlook. The PC is owned by me
and Outlook is licensed to me - not to my former employer.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Was that company using Exchange server and did you use an offline folder?

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the SWEN virus, all mail sent to my personal account will be deleted
without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, Veronica asked:
