Outlook 2000 Crashes When Accessing Global Address List

We have a user who is using Office 2000 on a Windows XP machine and when he
is in his personal folders and then tries to access his Global Address List,
Outlook crashes.
We have installed the latest updates and service packs (except for Windows
XP SP2) but can't seem to figure out why this is happening. He has restarted
the computer (cold boot) a few times and it still keeps happening.
Also, when he tries to move an email from his inbox to his personal folders,
it also causes Outlook to crash.
Any suggestions to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated!!!
