Outlook 2000 crashes when closing contact or email windows

Outlook 2000 all patched up

It crashes when closing most discrete email or contact
windows. I can open a few emails and close them without an
issue but most recent ones crash outlook with a message
(see 2 at the bottom). Preview pane allows me to read
emails with a problem, but if I reply or forward when I
hit the send button I also crash out. Occasionally just
closing the Outlook window will also produce an error.

I have run scanpst.exe, tried repairing the installation
and tried uninstalling/reinstalling the Office suite.
Still get the same errors in the the same messages.

Anyone have any insights?
