outlook 2000 crashing

When I open outlook it opens and then freezes. Then shortly after I get a
message saying "outlook has encournterd a problem and needs to close".

I have installed & re-installed all to no avail.

Outlook Express runs fine though.

I'm using XP and I've also downloaded all the patches/fixes.

With Outlook closed, try renaming or deleting the outcmd.dat file located in
the (hidden) folder %AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook. Then restart Outlook.
