Outlook 2000 Distribution Lists

Does anyone know of a way to recreate Contacts from a
Distribution List? I created a folder in my contacts
that duplicated a distribution list. I attempted to
update the folder with an import from an Access
spreadsheet. Outlook developed a problem and closed half
way thru the Import, deleting the contacts in my folder.
I'm trying to recreate the Contacts using the Distribution
List without re-typing them all. I only need teh
name/email address.

I got lost in your syntax, professor. I have no idea what you did.
There is no simple way to convert a DL into separate Contacts. The best you
can do is save that DL as an RTF file, convert it to plain text in Word and
add headers so the fields are clearly identified. Open the txt file in Excel
so you can convert it to a CSV file, then import that CSV into Outlook.
