Hi All,
It's me again with another obscure Outlook 2000 query
OK, one of my user's is creating a blank e-mail, pasting in template
text, adding a PAB personal address book entry (this is a kind of
distribution list contain 'x' amount of external email addresses) and
then moving/copying this e-mail into the 'drafts' folder of a
secondary, shared mailbox. He hopes to create a slew of these emails
for colleagues of his who also have access to this shared mailbox....
This is where the problem begins. His colleagues then merrily go into
the drafts folder of the shared mailbox and open the e-mail, complete
with title, text and PAB address but when they go to press 'send',
Outlook crashes.
Same happens to me when I grant myself experimental access. I go into
this mailbox, open the email (no problem) but when I click 'send',
Outlook crashes. Just before that, if I double click on the PAB entry
in the To... field, I get the error message:
"Cannot perform the requested operation. The command selected is not
valid for this recipient"
I'm guessing only the creator of an email with a personal address book
entry can use this email???
Any thoughts greatly appreciated.
