Outlook 2000: error message then quits after deleting mail

I am cleaning out my Deleted Items, but after four to
six deletions, Outlook gives this message and then quits:

"Outlook.exe has generated errors and will be closed by
Windows. You will need to restart the program. An error
log is being created."

This problem is reproducible, everytime. I don't know
which log files are created because no name is given and
three logs are created at the time of the "crash".

I am using Outlook 2000 SP3 on Windows 2000 SP4. I
have ran "Detect and Repair..." and am not running
QuickFind. Hope someone can help. Thanks in advance.

I've seen the exact same thing and Cannot find out the
problem. Also running W2K SP4 and MS outlook SP3.

The MS Knowledge base suggests renaming outitems.log but
there isn't a file by that name.
