Outlook 2000 excel attachement opens system32 folder

Charles

I am currently using outlook 2000 SP3 in Windows XP. When I try to open a
excel file in outlook from a particular user, outlook opens the system32
screen. If I try to save the file instead it gives me a "outlook cannot save
the URL to a file. Path does not exist. Make sure path is correct" error
message.

I'm able to open other excel files in outlook just fine, its just that I
can't open the ones sent by this one person. Also, if someone else sends me
the same excel file, outlook was able to open it. Does anyone know if there
is a fix for this problem?
