When you "forward" an email message that was sent in HTML format, and then
attempt to edit the body text of the original email, editing does not work
properly. If you try typing into the text of the message. It will put a
space before the letter first typed and spacing is off after that, as well as
fonts depending on what the original font is set for.
The only way I can find to fix this is to format the message in Plain text
clicking forward and before typing in the message.
Does anyone know of a way to be able to edit the forwarded text without
having to change the message format to Plain Text? I am using Outlook 2000
SP2 in a Corporate Workgroup.
