OUTLOOK 2000 FREEZES WHEN CALENDAR IS OPENED

Whenever I open Calendar in outlook, it freezes. I have to
hit Alt+Control+Delete to force Outlook to close. Can
anybody suggest why it happens and how to resolve this
issue. My machine has 1.5 GHZ CPU speed, 512 MHZ RAM and
operating system I use is Windows 2000 and I am using
Office 2000. Thanks a million.
