Outlook 2000 hanging problem

We are using Exchange Server 2007 on VMWare machine and using outlook 2000 on
client computers to view mails. Outlook frequently hangs, when sending or
receving a mail, sometimes at opening, and when it is left without use for 30
mins or more.
