Outlook 2000 Hangs When closing

Outlook 2000 is hanging when it shuts down. The message
box that says "Please wait while Microsoft Outlook exits"
stays open and the "Outlook.exe" is still running. Does
anyone know how to fix this?

I have the same problem and just posted a msg for this.

did not see your post my only resolution to this is to do
a total system rebuild....which is not what I really want
to do.
