Help! I've been unable to connect to my corporate network
for about two weeks now. I get the following message when
I try - "The logon credentials supplied were incorrect.
Make sure your username and domain are correct, then type
your password again."
I'm using OL200, Windows 2000 and I connect to my
corporate network using a VPN over a DSL line. Everything
was working great until last Monday. Suddenly, I get the
above error message and it becomes an infiite loop. I re-
type everything to make sure it's accurate, but it still
doesn't recognize me. I've created my profile on another
PC and it works fine. I need my laptop to work and get
connected, however.
I've removed Outlook and re-installed. I've even removed
OL Express thinking that was retaining some settings. I
removed all mail profiles and tried to "rebuild" Outlook.
However, it still remembers who I am and everytime I need
to hit the email server it comes up with the same error
message (always retaining my username and domain name
information and asking for the password).
If I've removed Outlook and all mail profiles, why does it
still "remember" who I am? Is there a registry key that
needs to be reset?
Also, I've noticed that when I boot the computer, the
initial login screen for Win2K also remembers my username
and asks for the password. It didn't used to do this,
used to ask fro both username and password.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
