Subject: Support Request - Outlook 2000 Product code

Hi there,

I've moved to NZ from UK with a Windows XP desktop.

During the move, my Outlook 2000 seems to have been
overridden by Outlook Express. I need to run both as
OExpress is not compatible with my HP Jornada Pocket PC.

However on trying to re-install / set up Outlook 2000
from my Active Sync disk, it is requesting the 24 digit
Certificate of Authenticity code.... this is in UK and
not available to me.

What can I do?

Many thanks in advance.

Karen McKenzie-Anscombe

Dear Karen,

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Online Assisted
Support.

At this time, we provide online technical support for
customers using Australian/English language software. Due
to the fact that there are some significant differences
in programming between Australian and localised versions
of Microsoft software, we feel that you would be best
assisted by a Support Professional located in your
specific region. Since you are using a version of Outlook
2000 that you purchased outside of Australia, your best
option would be to work with a Support Professional at
the local subsidiary in the UK. They should be able to
provide you with a new CD Key. We can only issue Product
Keys for locally made products. You can visit their
website for further information at:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?LN=EN-
GB&x=15&y=18

Please advise me if you require further explanation.

Kind regards,
Hamish Macarthur
