Hi everyone,
There is a key you can change in Outlook that disables preview pane, I
cannot seem to find any more documentation on this at all.
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{00020D75-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}\Shell\Open\C
ommand]
@="\"C:\\PROGRA~1\\MICROS~2\\Office\\OUTLOOK.EXE\ /nopreview"
Running outlook.exe /nopreview disables preview pane on startup. The second
you change to another folder that previously had preview pane enabled still
remains enabled. When switching back to inbox or any folder it has
auto-preview available (but not on) again. Is there a way to completely
turn off this feature via registry key and not custom views?
BTW, by "enabled" I mean the shortcut button in the toolbar is no longer
greyed out.
Thanks
Ketta
