Outlook 2000 not shuting down when closed

Outlook 2000 SP3 on the Exchange Server 5.5 SP4, with
patches 2657.55 latest patch. Outlook will not shut down
when exiting, it just hangs, I can open another session
at the same time and the other session just hangs. I have
to end task in task manager, also; as I open task manager
and Outlook is the only app running, outlook is taking
100% of the CPU. I donot have a .pst file in my profile
and my McAfee Anti-Virus is up to date using corporate
version 7.1, dat files 4313 scan engine 4.2.60 Jan 7
2004, I also ran a app. Stinger for the latest virus out,
No Virus Detected. Any Thoughts
