Hi
sometimes this happens and sometime it doesn't. I've tried working out why
it does and why it doesn't, but to no success.
if I create a htm doc with images all held locally in a single folder.
I then send myself an email using 'New message from web page' in outlook
express.
I receive the email in Outlook 2000 and all looks ok.
I open the received email, select all, and copy contents.
I open a new outlook 2000 email, select all, and paste contents. all looks
ok.
I save the email as an OFT file.
-----------------
sometimes, when I open the OFT file, the message has been converted into
Plain Text and all of the images appear as attachments.
if I ran through the same process but saved the massage as a MSG file the
saved copy would look ok.
-----------------
depending on the email I've designed depends on weather the OFT will save
correctly or not.
-----------------
does anyone know what causes this and had to prevent it?
an MSG file is no good to me for various reasons, I must save files in OFT.
Thanks
