I am attempting to edit a PRF file to provide users with Internet E-Mail in
Outlook 2000. I have downloaded the sample PRF file and have edited it to
succesfully add The Outlook Address Book, Personal Address Book, Personal
Folders and to create the Internet E-Mail service.
However when you open the Internet E-Mail service, things such as Name,
Organization, E-mail Address, Incoming Mail (POP3), Outgoing Mail (SMTP), and
Account Name are all empty. They do not take on the values assigned in PRF
File. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas as to why no matter what I do
I can't pull these values. Not even from the Sample File in unaltered form.
To create the profile I am using newprof.exe. I am also running Office 2000
with Service Pack 3.
If anyone has any ideas whatesoever your help would be greatly appreciated
as I am on day 4 of trying to get this working.
Thank You in Advance.
