Outlook 2000 running on windows xp

Hi all.

We recently started deploying some machines with Windows
xp and office 2000.

Before when a new user logs onto the machine outlook
automatically configures the exchange server service to
use the username logged in as the mailbox and we set the
server name using the CIW to deploy office.

On our win2k machines it seems to work fine but on xp it
doesnt populate the name from the login details. Is there
something in xp that doesnt like %USERNAME% or are we
doing something wrong.
