As a Comcast customer, i regularly send group e-mails to a list we maintain
for anothe rorganization. Abide by the rules of Comcast and am listed as a
bulk mailer to avoid their blocking my sends. However, in the past 2-3 months
as the largest group is send will hit a point where I receive the following
message:
The message could not be sent because it rejected you as the sender. Server
Response: ‘550 69.139.38.136 blocked by ldap

)Account: ‘kengooderham’. SMTP Server: ‘smtp.comcast.net’, Error Number:
0x800ccc78).
Comcast's Network Abuse staff swear we're not on the block list, and I can
still send through their Web site mailer, but Outlook refuses to budge. First
two times lceared in aout 18 hours, but this time it's 24 hours and counting
-- very frustrating.
Is this an Outlook problem due to the LDAP message? If so, what can be done?
If not, any suggestions?
