I need to save many of my sent messages for later use. I
set up subdirectories in Outlook 2000 under the Sent Items
directory to help organize them, but when I move an item
into a subdirectory the "From" field changes to my name,
losing the true recipient's name. If I then transfer it
back to the main Sent Items directory, the original
recipient name is restored, but I lose the organizing
capabilities of subdirectories. This also happened in
Outlook 97. Anyone know of a simple solution and/or why
Microsoft would set things up this way?
Thanks.
