Outlook 2000 Setup

I want to setup Outlook 2000 for contacts, calendar, etc but keep my e-mail
through another source can anyone help with setup directions?

Hi!

I've done this before by setting up m my e-mail account in Outlook and
setting the Send/Receive options to only work when manually activated.

In Outlook 2000, the settings are as follows:
Go to Tools/Options/Mail Delivery Tab, uncheck the Send Messages
Immediately When Connected and uncheck Check For New Messages Every 10
Minutes. Then set your alternate e-mail client as a default.

Outlook will still perform a send/receive if you manually execute the
command, but only when you execute it. Hope this helps!
