Outlook 2000 Small Business

H

hola

I bought Outlook 2000 Small Business When I got my laptop back in 2000. My
PDA has a compatible outlook (don't remember which one) Now that I got a
brand new Desktop, I don't really need Outlook except to connect my PDA to my
PC for updating my calendar and e-mail. I tried downloading the old Outlook
to my new computer (Windows XP) but I need my serial number from the old
software (which I don't have 'cause I threw away all the paper certificates
and placed the disks in a CD holder. What can I do if anything? Does it
mean I have to buy the Whole new version of Outlook?
Thanks

You will have to buy the product. Since CDs, and other
ownership documentation really don't take up much space,
don't throw any away.

If you have proof of purchase, contact Microsoft. Otherwise, you're out of
luck if yuou wanted to use that version, unless it's still operational on
the old laptop - if so, see KeyFinder from www.magicaljellybean.com

But since you say your PDA (PocketPC??) came with Outlook, you can also use
that. Never throw away your CD keys....
