I have been having this problem for a few weeks now. Whenever I click
on the Outlook icon on my desktop, I usually have to try four or five
times before it will be successfully opened. The Outlook window does
start but always get a "non-responding" error on top. I have also
tried to close Outlook from the Task Manager window and:
1. I have deleted the "Outcmd.dat file" but no help.
2. My .pst file is only 300mb.
3. I have also used my Outlook CD to do a repair, but still no help.
4. I have also tried to run it in Safe mode "Outlook.exe /safe",
Outlook flashed on screen and then disappear. I tried it four times
and then eventually it opened and stayed on.
5. I tried to open Outlook from the Programs folder, again, Outlook
flashed on the screen and then disappear.
Now I am out of all of my resources.
Does anyone has any idea what went wrong? Any suggestions/comments are
much appreciated.
Thank you.
