Outlook 2000 Upgrade

Have Outlook 2000. How easy is it to upgrade to 2003 or 2007?

Is it an actual upgrade, or do you have to delete 2000, then load the new 03
(or 07) version?

Either way, will upgrading allow me to keep my old emails and contacts?

Back up your data. Remove Office 2000 completely and perform a clean
installation of Office 2003. The file you need to back up is your Personal
Folders file (*.pst)
It's where all the mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.
