Hi,
I've seen similar posts to this one on the web but nothing that seems
to replicate my situation.
I suddenly started seeing the below error upon starting Outlook 2000
(single user install)
Warning: Opening "Untitled"
The form for this item has not been registered in this folder or in
your company's forms library. Because this item contains macros,
which could contain a virus harmful to your computer, you may not want
to run the macros.
If you are sure this item is from a trusted source, click 'Enable
macros'. Otherwise, click 'Disable macros'.
A few questions for anyone who has ideas on what to do:
- Given this is OL startup - how do I even know what form is being
referenced?
- Symantec isn't reporting any viruses - I wonder if this is even a
problem
- Any ideas on how to stop this message?
I've deleted my .pst files, uninstalled Outlook and reinstalled with
no change in behavior.
Any and all ideas appreciated.
NOTE: When I uninstalled Outlook - it seems to have retained some
information (e.g. setup as I did not have to re-enter my account
information) - I'm wondering if there is some residue from the outlook
install I need to get rid of and, if so, where it is.
Thanks
