Hi,
I have been using Outlook Express but would like to start using
Outlook 2000 that is part of my Office 2000 Premium. However, when I
try to open Outlook 2000 all I get is the licensing box (the task list
(Ctrl-Alt-Del) shows "Not Responding"). All my other Office programs
work fine. It's just Outlook 2000. I have looked at some other
messages about this subject and the difference for me is that I have
never has Outlook 2000 up and running. I have tried reinstalling just
Outlook 2000, as well as the whole of Office 2000 with no result.
Other users with problems seem to be asked two questions –
1) How big is your *.PST file? - I do not appear to have a .pst file
and I have searched the hidden files (I'm running Win XP).
ScanPST.EXE can't find a PST file either. Maybe this is because I
have managed to run Outlook 2000?
2) Does Outlook start with the /safe command line switch? (Start | Run
| Outlook.exe /safe | OK) – no.
Can anyone help me?
Kind regards,
Alison
