Outlook 2000 wont stay as default email

I'm trying to get my co-workers Outlook 2000 to send excel spreadsheets
instead of his Outlook Express.

When I go to my internet explorer options to change "Outlook" to the default
email address and hit "Accept" and "Ok" it changes back to Outlook Express.
Anyway to fix this?

Never mind. I found the solution. I forgot that you need to have
administrator privileges. Sorry for the post!
