Has anyone had a problem with Outlook 2000 wherein you can open it, download
your email messages, delete a couple of them, and then get a message
referring to an error occuring that caused your outlook.pst from being saved?
Today, I had a new surprise when downloading messages, 30 something to be
exact. Could not delete any and received another can't save message. Oh, and
it tells me to close and restart all mail-enabled applications. This time, I
did, and when I reopened Outlook, all those messages were gone. Typically any
deleted messages have reappeared in the inbox when I do that.
Can anyone offer any assistance with resolving this issue. I have tried with
no success to download the SR1a update, but an error keeps appearing. Tried
downloading it to the desktop and then installing, which appeared to be
successful after inserting 2 Office CDs and rebooting the computer. But
Office update says that I still need to install it.
