Outlook 2001 crashes in OS 10.2

I have an EMAC running OS 10.2.8, whenever i launch
outlook it crashes out right after loading. There is no
real message other than outlook has experianced a
critical failure and needs to quit.
Everytime it crashes it brings the whole of Classic with
it. I have tried removing and reinstalling but this has
only made the problem worse. Any help would be greatly
appreciated

Hi joey!

Your Outlook preferences may be corrupt.

Look in System Folder --> Preferences for a couple of files and a folder
beginning with "Exchange". Move these to the trash.

You'll need to use Outlook Settings to set up your accounts again, but this
should be trivial.

Hope this helps! bill
