Outlook 2002 and hotmail problem

Hi,
running XP Pro and Outlook 2002...
I setup my hotmail account through Outlook 2002 and
everything seems ok. I get my messages from the Hotmail
server but can not open them. I get the dreaded "send
report" message. I can reply and forward the messages but
not open them. The only way I can read them is by moving
them to a personal folder on my machine and open them
there. I tried deleting the account and setting up
multiple time...

Weird behavior...

Any help out there?
