I recently set up an IMAP server and it is working well, however I noticed a
very, very annoying problem with it when accessing it from my Outlook
client.
As expected, another "root" folder is added to my main folder tree with my
IMAP server name as the name. The problem is that everytime I start
Outlook, this folder is collapsed and all folders under it are collapsed as
well (my "local" folders are expanded just where I left them).
Futhermore, all the folder settings inside my imap server tree are reset.
This includes what columns I want listed, sort order, column size (width),
etc.
This happens every time I start Outlook. Is there something I can do to
prevent this? I hate having these "default" folder columns that I never
will use show up _every_ time I enter it.
Again, this does not happen with my local folders.
Thanks,
Tim
