I purchased a new computer several days ago. It uses Windows 7. My old
computer ran Windows XP and Office 2002.
I transferred all my data files from the old computer to the new one.
When I start Outlook it asks for my passwords (I use 2 email accounts). I
have found a site on the web which indicates that my Outlook profile is
corrupt and it suugests that I create a new profile. However, the
instructions provided rely on creating the new profile using the Control
Panel and this option is not available in Win 7.
Could someone please advise me if by installing Office 2007, including
Outlook, I could solve this problem.
