Outlook 2002 attachments not received by Outlook 200 user

Attachments sent with Outlook 2002 (Office XP
installation XP Pro OS) are not accessible in a
colleagues Outlook 2000 (with Win2K OS). Zipping doesn't
fix it. However a I have managed to get a pdf file
through.

Any ideas??
