Outlook 2002 calendar scheduling for next year not working.

I am having difficulties trying to schedule a meeting for sometime next
year. When I add someone to the attendees list and look across to see when
they are free sometime next year I just get the 'no information' pattern
from 01-Jan-07 right through the whole year. This is very strange as I have
got someone to add an event in there calendar on the 03-Jan-07, but when I
try to schedule them it shows the 'no information' pattern.

I am running Outlook 2002 SP3 through Exchange 2003 Version 6.5 SP2.
